GMTEC 2018: Hypercar season officially started

TrackandTuner.com visited the first supercar & hypercar meeting of the year at GMTEC.

You might know that every year all the supercars and hypercars get stored in their garages, waiting for some nice weather to come out and play again. This year we had to wait a very long time for the winter to give up its cold. Althought 10 degrees isn't warm, the GMTEC meeting is the unofficial opening of the supercar and hypercar season.

Just like last year there were a lot of nice cars attending:

The line up was great with about 120 cars attending. We had hypercars like the Ferrari Aventador SV, the Ferrari 812 Superfast and a lot of great sportscars and supercars. The purple mat McLaren 570S looked great next to the new Porsche 911 GT3.

Seeing them side by side, I still prefer the Porsche.

Lots of great car modification on many of the cars attending, which is to my liking.

One of the biggest sleeper cars was the BMW M3 e46, which has a HorsePowerFreaks (HPF) turbo kit, producing 812 HP but could go all the way up to 1000HP. Another first look was the Lamborghini Aventador S in bright yellow. The tripod exhaust is looking a bit funny.

The Red BMW M4 with HRE wheels had a new turbo upgrade from PureTurbo's so making a lot more power than standard.

Which one is your favorite?

Stay tuned for parts two and three to follow.
