During the 2012 DTM Zandvoort there is more than just the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. There is also the Formula 3, Porsche supercup and the Dutch Supercar Challenge.
The Dutch Supercar Challenge is a very exciting race class, with a lot of contenders in a lot of different classes. From the Super GT division with Ferrari’s, Corvettes and Moslers to the Supersport division with BMW M3’s, Ginetta’s, Lotus, Ford and Mazda. They are all battling in their own racing class.
With the tricky conditions during the entire weekend it was a gamble who would survive the one hour race. These heavy horsepower racers had lots of trouble searching for grip. TrackandTuner.com had the opportunity to take a look behind the wheel of a Ferrari 458 GT3 during the race.
In the video you will see lots of spectacular actions, crashes of a Porsche and Mosler, a spin off into the gravel, overtaking and a battle against a matte black Corvette ZO6.
