TrackandTuner.com visited the DTM Zandvoort 2018. It has been a while but we have previously visited the DTM at Zandvoort in 2012.
So long time overdue, lets see what has changed!
The paddock isn't that big anymore, there are more small stands however, said that, the BMW M stand was great.
Seeing the new BMW 8 Series in real life, which is a great looking machine!
Or do you prefer a Yellow BMW M4 convertible?
What about the cars, while they have become even more aggressive. They still have a V8, with a restricted 500HP, and only weight 1.030 KG. Everything is carbon fiber and the dynamics are now even more, like the DRS wing.
This is however the last year of BMW vs Mercedes vs Audi, as Mercedes is pulling out next year.
Seeing these BMW M4's, Mercedes C63AMG's and the RS5's up close shows how wide and low these cars really are. We went into the pitlane and went face to face with some of the best riers like Gary Pfaffet, Paul Di Resta, Timo Glock and Pascal Wehrlein.
All just before the start of race, still pretty relaxe compared to some other racing series.
