TrackandTuner.com visited SuperCarSundayNL at the brand new Zandvoort F1 GP track.
It was our first time to visit Zandvoort this year, due to all the circumstances in 2020. We were very much looking forward to seeing the new Track. We were not alone.
The F1 should have raced at Zandvoort this year, so they made some significant changes, mostly to the track. They have only added one parking zone and no other facilities to the public.
The paddock is still the same and thanks to SuperCarSundayNL, it was filled with great cars again. Car like the Koenigsegg Agera, McLaren Senna, Senna GTR, Audi ABT cars and a lot more.
We kept our distance, so we couldn't see all the cars, but what we saw was again a great line-up as we are used to from SuperCarSundayNL.
One of the mega highlights was the green carbon Bugatti Chiron side to side with a McLaren P1 GTR.
I have to say the quality of the Chiron can not be ignored. Everything looks top notch, from every angle. There is not a single part where they didn't use the highest quality material and this shows.
It was also the first time seeing the SUV from Aston Martin called the DBX. To be honest, this has to be the worst looking car I have ever seen. Aston Martin builds such pretty cars, and then they create this monster. It looks like a Ford SUV with the same rear of the Aston Martin Vantage.
Fortunately we had many great cars, in great specifications. I love the bold colors on the Ferrari 812 Superfast and the Ferrari Pista.
We did some lap on the NEW F1 Zandvoort Circuit with the 562HP BMW M3 and man the new banking corners are ridiculous.
The track is still very narrow. The only adjustments are:
- New pitlane
- Two new banking curves.
We loved the new experience and can't wait to see what the F1 would do on Zandvoort. I think it will be a very crash exciting race.
