We had a special evening taking three incredible cars for a small drive through the Eifel for some great rolling Shots.
We had a Porsche GT2RS by Manthey Racing, a Porsche Carrera GT and a Lamborghini Huracan STO.
Two epic V10's and one very fast track weapon by Manthey.
These cars are very unique. While the Porsche GT2RS and the Huracan STO might be the two competitors on track (dedicated trackday cars) but they couldn't be more different.
Maybe the Porsche Carrera GT has more in common with the STO, both having the V10 engines.
While technology has leaped forwards the Carrera GT remains a mega car. Kudos for the driver for taking this car on the Nordschleife. The owner told us, that you need to be a fully ready racing car driver to really drive this car properly.
On track, you need to ride it on the limit, but that limit is very hard and tricky, like we all know. The owner took is easy but enjoyed it very much on the Nordschleife.
The Porsche GT2RS needs no introduction on the Nordschleife. It is incredible fast and with the Manthey racing parts it is the car to beat on the Nordschleife.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO, is an impressive piece of Italian passion. The sound, the looks and the handling is great, but it is not a dedicated track weapon like the Porsche GT2RS.
While it lacks, cooling, 6-point harnesses etc. it more makes up for that in sound, looks and emotion.
Seeing these three cars behind my car thought the camera lens is EPIC.
