Insurance Packages
We get this question a lot, Am I insured on the Nordschleife?
The answer is generally: NO.
However there are packages available for Trackdays and even TouristFahren. For reference we have set out the below packages to give you an idea what the pricing would be.
We can offer:
- Trackday Insurance - Insurance for you car during a Trackday at any track in Europe
- Touristfahren Insurance - Insurance for your car during Touristfahren on the Nordschleife
- Third Party liability Insurance - Including damage to third-party vehicles on the track + Legal Fees + Barrier damage
- Trackday Ticket Insurance - You have booked a trackday but can't go? Get your Trackday money back with insurance. A EUR 750 ticket would cost you EUR 30 for insurance. Get in touch to have this covered.

One of the faster and great cars on the Nordschleife is a tuned BMW M3 or M2. These tuned cars are mega fast with laptops even under 7 BTG.
However these cars are not cheap. Team Schirmer cars go for over EUR 100.000 second hand and are in popular demand.
An Insurance for this car with a Value of EUR 100.000 would be around EUR 1.500 for a trackday.
This includes cost to the bariers up to EUR 4.000 and the car recovered from the Nordschleife.

Maybe the most popular car the Porsche GT3 and GT3RS. Cars with a value of EUR 150.000 -250.000.
Premium would be EUR 3.000 per day with and excess of EUR 20.000.
This is an annual insurance, which is valid for all track days, driver courses and races for one year (with all cars you drive) and especially for people and property damage including damage to other cars on the track.
You can cover Touristfahren for +20 % extra
Barrier damage is also covered by 3,500 euros and 50% SB.

Our own personal favorite, the BMW M3 e46 or e36.
Valued at EUR 25.000, you would pay a premium of EUR 650 for a full Trackday.
Excess would be EUR 4.000
